Michelle Singh's Bio

Long before Singh was an entrepreneur, she was a classroom teacher, curriculum specialist, and adjunct professor. She is currently a doctoral candidate for organizational leadership at Nova Southeastern University and holds several certifications including the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.

In addition to working with educators and administrators for almost five years as a leader in her school district, Michelle dedicated 15 years to the fourth largest school district in the United States. In her tenure, she was a teacher of the gifted, teacher-leader, department chairperson, District curriculum specialist, and District technology trainer. In her role as adjunct professor, Singh specialized in preparing pre-service teachers to enter the workforce as well as helping in-service teachers achieve certification in gifted education.

As a teacher, Singh met the demands of assessment benchmarks despite often lacking resources and tools to ensure all students' needs were accounted for. Singh’s unique ability to understand the needs of students, parents, teachers, administrators, and district leaders is what sets LCT-E Learning Solutions™ apart and contributes to an improvement in performance as well as social and emotional health outcomes for the districts she serves. By helping districts prioritize diversity and inclusion, Singh helps transform classrooms into innovative spaces that promote a deeper appreciation for learning.

As the author of “Educational Continuity During Uncertainty: Online Learning Considerations for Educators,” Singh provides considerations educators can use to achieve continuity with students, parents, and families during online learning. Her book has been praised as a vital resource as so many parents and teachers turn to virtual learning as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Singh also takes pride in giving back to her community in Miami as well as Jamaica and is involved with several nonprofits and charitable causes. When Singh isn’t igniting a love for learning in her community, you can find her searching for the best Jamaican food in Miami with her teenage daughter and husband or spending time with her four rescue dogs.
